Hi! I’m Elizabeth.

A little about me: At age 42 I shocked myself and everyone I knew by leaving the LDS church. Before that, the church was my whole life. It guided:

• my life choices
• my clothing choices
• my eating choices
• every action
• every thought

I loved and trusted the church. Honestly, I didn’t really believe there was meaningful life outside the church.

Now, years later, I am confident that the world is beautiful, people are good, and I’m much safer outside the LDS church.

Truthfully, I would love to say the church doesn’t affect me now, but really, who I am today is an odd mix of what the church made me, what leaving the church made me, and what I’m choosing now. Because of that, I create content that allows me to:

• explore who I am
• help others feeling their way through life outside the LDS church know:
  • that they aren’t bad,
  • they aren’t crazy
  • they aren’t alone.
