Hi! I’m Elizabeth.

A little about me: At age 42 I shocked myself and everyone I knew by leaving the LDS church. Before that, the church was my whole life–it guided my life choices, my clothing choices and my eating choices. Basically, it influenced every action and every thought. I loved and trusted the church. Honestly, I wasn’t sure there was meaningful life outside the church.

Now, years later, I am confident that the world is beautiful, people are good, and I’m much safer outside the LDS church.

Truthfully, I would love to say the church doesn’t affect me now, but really, who I am today is an odd mix of what the church made me and what leaving the church made me and what I’m choosing now. Because of that, I create content that allows me to explore who I am and that helps others feeling their way through life outside the LDS church know that they aren’t bad, they aren’t crazy, and they aren’t alone.
